POP
ART PAINTINGS
"Young Adults want to buy art and we pride ourselves on providing that for
them at a price they can afford." -
Iosua Tai Taeoalii
Since 2005, Josh and Adrienne have sold over 8,000 pieces from their
collection worldwide, to collectors from countries such as Israel, South Korea, New
Zealand, Germany, Iceland, South Africa, China, Japan, the UK and abroad.
Their
art is proudly displayed in the homes of collectors from coast to coast with at
least one or many more in each of the 50 states. Their works have become
acknowledged and celebrated amongst stencil and pop art enthusiasts from across
the globe.
What is spray paint art?

Adrienne & Iosua Taeoalii's pop art paintings are usually images of pop
culture icons, but we do custom pieces, and have done many personal pieces from
our own collection of photographs. Click here to see photos of those. A
stencil is designed in Photoshop from either a photograph or a drawing by Iosua
and printed, then handcut into a stencil. (Every stencil is handcut, no
machines, no vinyl cutters....We're proud of that fact). The stencil is then
used to spray paint the image usually onto masonite, but we really will spray on
anything. The backgrounds are created using spray paint, marker, acrylic, etc.
and in most cases is a free-hand process.
What paint do we use?
Used to use American Accents, but all their newer cans are garbage, so we've
just made the switch, finally, to IRONLAK cans which have more pressure control
and a much better color selection. We're currently buying all of our paint,
caps, etc. supplies from Oink Art LTD. I sincerely suggest checking out
Oink Art. They've got
what you need at a great price.
Every painting is an original. The stencil is reused, however the colors and the
backgrounds are always different.
