Legend of the Pacific
Weird Chief Pictures is expecting to produce a film based on
the Samoan legend of Malietoa, the mythical warrior.
Legend of the Pacific will touch
upon many Polynesian legends, ceremonies and way of
life, showcasing the unique traits of a people not
yet defined by modern cinema. Much as Western films
have done with the American Indian, we will explore
the mystique and lore of ancient Polynesia. We will
also employ the similar aspects of Asian Martial
Arts films that illustrate their past filled with
myth and magic, in essence creating a new genre of
film.
A
Man Afoot
Iosua Tai Taeoalii is currently
writing a screenplay entitled, A Man Afoot.
A dramatic love story about a Vaquero (Spanish
Cowboy) tormented with the hardships of 19th Century
western frontier life and impassioned with a bond
between himself and his horse. A film that WCP
intends to produce in the near future. See the
teaser below.
