Hate
by Iosua Tai Taeoalii
I
hate you....
Such strong words
Did i deserve the verb
Of obscured hurt?
Aside from being drunk
What sunk? My heart
Was permanently funked.
For fuck sakes, the ache
Terminates the grin on my face
Gracefully turn away and place
My soul upon a plate.....
Those words.......Hate,
Man they hurt, was it worth
The disgrace i was served.
A dog i am not, treat me like i am.
Does alcohol help you speak about a man?
You never drank, but when you did
You crushed me, proved you were a rib.
And since my trust and love is always there
I took it and hopefully our fight is fair
And even after i explained myself
Your pain and self loathing told me
You don’t trust me
Won’t The,
Decide what’s really important?
Went beyond your normal and expressed your
hate...
Up to date, I’ve only loved your straight,
Frank bluntness, regardless of what I feel,
You’re real and speak what eats at you still
But as far as me goin’ a stray
I say fair lady, my wife who i love
Enough blame and distrust,
I’d never loose track
Of the fact,
Our vows were said so true.....
I do......You Do.....at the alter we agreed on
the two.
